Educational Consultants

Carolyn Kocurek, the founder of Academic Answers, has assisted hundreds of families in finding the right educational settings for their children. She has over 12 years of experience that has spanned multiple roles including program admissions, program development, and parent relations. As a parent of two children, she readily identifies with the challenges that parents encounter.

Chris Kocurek, M.Ed. is the Executive Director and a lead educational consultant of Academic Answers.  He has over 18 years of experience in the education and behavioral health field. He has extensive experience in program operations and program development. He has specialized in the development of alternative educational programs, including wilderness programs and therapeutic boarding schools. He has worked as a consultant with both families and programs. He holds a Master's degree in Education, specializing in Counseling and Guidance.  He is an active member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
